Forest School
Forest School is an opportunity for children to learn in the open air, to challenge themselves physically and intellectually, to solve problems and learn to be strong, independent and self reliant. Every week, a group of children are taken to Sandy Heath in Hampstead to take part in activities which are directly linked to the curriculum.
Forest School is a place where nobody fails, where children learn from small achievable tasks and by working in collaboration. Children's individual learning styles are recognised and built on. It helps them to develop self-esteem in an enabling environment.
We are proud to be a member of the Forest Schools Association and believe that children gain a great deal through this experience.
